WINE GLASS PAINTING

NBA GAME TRIP

Take a trip with Community Rec to watch the San Antonio Spurs take on the Miami Heat, Feb. 19. Trip package includes round-trip transportation, pre-game warmup experience, lower level seating and a food voucher. The bus departs from Unaccompanied Housing at 10 a.m. and will arrive at the AT&T Center at around 1 p.m. The bus will return immediately after the game and return to NAS Corpus Christi at about 7:30 p.m. Deadline to sign up is Jan. 2, at the Community Recreation Office (Bldg. 1757) For pricing and information, contact Community Rec at 961-1293

FAMILY FITNESS CLASS

MWR has a Family Fitness class every Saturday at 10 a.m. at Fitness Express. This class is for parents and children ages 7 and up. The Family Fitness class is free for authorized MWR patrons, and includes a full body workout with basic cardio drills, functional strength training, and flexibility work. Everyone comes together for group stretching at the end of the class. Call 961-3164 for more information.

THURSDAY MOVIE NIGHT

HOLIDAY DINNER

MWR is hosting a free Holiday dinner for all unaccompanied and duty-status active-duty military, Dec. 25. The meal hours will be from 1-5 p.m at the Catalina Club. Families of “on duty” active-duty military are welcome to attend with thier servicemember. For more information, call 961-1293.

MWR GUEST CARD PROGRAM

The MWR Guest Card is available to all eligible U.S. citizens who do not currently have base/MWR access. Card program members will have permission to use the Gulf Winds Golf Course, NASCC marina, RV park and MWR food facilities. A criminal history background check is required. 3-ON-3 BASKETBALL

A 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will be held Dec. 19, at 6:30 p.m., in the E-Street Gym. There is a max of three people per team, first team to 21 points, or the most points after 15 minutes, wins. Single elimination. Registration is now open at the gym. A 3-point shooting contest will be held prior to the tourney at 5:30.
