MWR GUEST CARD PROGRAM

The MWR Guest Card is available to all eligible U.S. citizens who do not currently have base/MWR access. Card program members will have permission to use the Gulf Winds golf course, NASCC marina, RV park and MWR food facilities. A criminal history background check is required. BACK TO SCHOOL CARE

The Youth Activities Center back to school care program is now available. Register now at militarychildcare.com for before-school care, after-school care or combined before/after-school care. Care is open to children of eligible sponsors at NASCC who are ages Kindergarten through 12-years-old. (Bus transportation is available for children enrolled at Flour Bluff ISD.) THURSDAY MOVIE NIGHT

CARDIO DANCE FITNESS CLASS

There is a free cardio dance group fitness class held at Fitness Express every Monday and Wednesday from 9 -10 a.m. This cardio class uses music and easy to follow dance moves combining fast and slow rythems. All fitness levels are welcome. For more information, call 961-3164.

SCAVENGER HUNT

The Library and Resource Center is hosting a Banned Book Scavenger Hunt on Sept. 23, from noon - 5:30 p.m. Hunt for banned books hidden in the library and earn prizes. For more information, call 961-3574.

NAVY FAMILY FRAMEWORK 2.0

The Chief of Naval Operations recently released Version 2.0 of the Navy Family Framework as part of a continuous effort to reinforce the Navy’s commitment to families. Navy Family Framework Version 2.0 is an update to the original Navy Family Framework, released in 2017. Based on feedback from the fleet, in-person focus groups, and surveys, Version 2.0 sets new goals in light of the progress made since Version 1.0 was released. LADIES SELF DEFENSE CLASS

MWR is hosting a free ladies-only self defense class at Fitness Express on Sept. 24 from 5 - 10 p.m. All female MWR patrons ages 10 and up are eligible to attend. GREAT NAVY CAMPOUT

The Great Navy Campout will take place Sept. 28 at the Abbot’s Cove tent camping area. All MWR eligible patrons can attend. Check in begins at 2 p.m. Tent rental and tent site are free while supplies last. Call (361) 961-1293 to register by Sept. 21.

NFL SUNDAY TICKET

COAST GUARD MEMORIAL
