Stress Management 101, Lesson 4
Friday, Aug. 23, from 9 - 11 a.m. Stress Management 101 is a four-part, seven-hour course designed to enable the learner to establish personal accountability strategies for the purpose reducing stress in their work and home life. Lesson one is a one-hour course, lessons two through four are two-hour courses.
Effective Communication
Friday, Aug. 30, from 9-11 a.m. A 60-minute workshop to enable the learner to use the power of effective communication as a vehicle for enhancing relationships at work or at home.
FAP 101
Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. This training will provide education on the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) process. Attendees will gain knowledge on FAP reports and reporting options, and the progress of a case from start to finish. Transition GPS for Retiring Service Members
Monday, Aug. 26, from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27 - Friday Aug. 30, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Military personnel who are retiring and are within two years of their retirement date are required to attend this seminar. Spouses are highly encouraged to attend. Topics that are covered include resumes, job search skills, job interviewing, federal and state employment options, veteran’s benefits, pay & travel, movement of household goods, financial planning, forms and documents, benefits and services, military obligations, and more. Prior to attending Transition GPS you must attend the Pre-Separation Counceling class.
