Occupation: USMC Student Naval Aviator Years Exercising: Eight. Frequency (how many times a week): 3-5 days a week. Favorite Exercise & Food: Deadlift and pizza. Favorite motivational saying: “Harden the **** up!” What inspired you to start exercising? Originally, I wanted to get big because it was the cool thing to do, then I realized the beauty of reaching my body’s potential. How has being consistent with your fitness benefited you? It has given me something to commit to, improving, my discipline, nutrition, overall health, and aesthetic appearance. It has increased my confidence and given me a healthy habit as a stress release. What do your family or friends think of your fitness habits? My wife says that it’s motivating and my friends view it as a part of who I am. What challenges have you overcome to maintain your fitness? Injuries, unpredictable scheduling, doubt, and discouragement. What advice would you give someone who is just starting their fitness journey? Fitness is a lifestyle, not a temporary fix, or a quick sprint. It’s a very long process. Take it one day at a time and do what you can. Never stop learning and making adjustments..
