Occupation: Student Naval Aviator Years Exercising: 20. Frequency (how many times a week): 5-6 days a week. Favorite Exercise & Food: Swimming and breakfast tacos. Favorite motivational saying: “Your joy is always worth it.” What inspired you to start exercising? Playing organized sports like soccer and competitive swimming since I was four years old. How has being consistent with your fitness benefited you? It keeps me healthy, which helps me to perform better during the day and sleep better at night. What do your family or friends think of your fitness habits? We all aspire to maintain a fitness routine that keeps us healthy in all aspects of life. What challenges have you overcome to maintain your fitness? When my life gets busy, it is important to squeeze in some form of exercise to decrease stress levels, which can be challenging. What advice would you give someone who is just starting their fitness journey? Take it one day at a time, looking too far into the future can be discouraging. Focus on daily goals and how much better exercise makes you feel each day.
