FAMILY GAME NIGHT
The base library is hosting a Family Game Night on Feb. 27 from 4 - 6 p.m. Families are invited to team up against other families or against each other in fun and exciting games. SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting applications for their Military Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded annually to military personnel, their spouse or dependent, from the Coastal Bend region. The deadline to apply is March 31.
Active duty and honorably discharged U.S. veterans, including U.S. Coast Guard, National Guard and Reservists and their dependents are eligible to apply.

TEENS ON THE GO!
The Youth Activities Center’s Teens On The Go program provides teenagers ages 13-18 a chance to meet new people, socialize and get involved in fun activities.
Stop by the Youth Activities Center and fill out a registration packet to participate in events and trips.
Upcoming event/trip:
March 14: Captain Marvel movie at Century 16 Corpus Christi and dinner at Dave & Busters. Participants depart from the Youth Activities Center at 7 p.m. and return at midnight.
Cost is $22 per teen, and covers the movie ticket and dinner. Register by March 6. There must be a minimum of three participants in order for the event to take place.

ADVANCEMENT CYCLE 243
The March 2019 Navy-wide enlisted advancement examination (Cycle 243) testing dates for paygrades of E4-E6 was announced in NAVADMIN 318/18.
The Navy-wide examination dates are March 7 (E-6), March 14 (E-5) and March 21 (E-4) for Sailors eligible to advance to the next-higher paygrade.
Examination results are anticipated to be released to command triads in May, prior to posting on the Navy Enlisted Advancement System (NEAS) website.

IA DEPLOYMENT SUPPORT
The Navy’s Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) has about 200 local and regional staff worldwide who provide an array of services for individual augmentees (IAs) and their family members before, during and after an IA assignment.
Every IA is assigned an Individual Deployment Support Specialist (IDSS), a Fleet and Family Support Center staff member who provides individualized support and assists with information and referral, homecoming briefs and referrals to clinical counseling as needed during a Sailor’s IA deployment cycle.
Other services include personal financial management, transition assistance, spouse employment assistance, new parent support and much more.
There are a number of resources available to IAs and their families.
