Dr. Andrew Morgan and Christina Koch, two NASA astronauts currently circling Earth on the International Space Station, came through Training Wing 4 at NAS Corpus Christi in 2017. Astronauts who don’t have prior flight training come to either VT-27 ‘Boomers’ or VT-28 ‘Rangers’ to conduct basic contact flights and their first solo in a Navy aircraft.
