SPRING EGGSTRAVAGANZA

MWR is hosting a Spring EGGstravaganza on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the park across from the Youth Activities Center.

Activities include an Easter Egg hunt, pony rides, petting zoo, inflatables, arts and crafts and more.

Free drinks and food will be provided.

Participants for the Easte Egg hunt must bring thier own basket.

This free event is open to all with base access. For more information, contact the Youth Activities Center at 961-2355.

DOGGIE DASH FUN RUN

MWR is hosting a Fun Run for dogs (and thier owners) on April 27, at the MWR Dog Park at 10 a.m.

Sign up at the fitness center or register the day of the event starting at 9:30 a.m.

All dogs must be on leashes and owners are responsible for cleaning up after thier dogs.

This free event is open to all eligible MWR patrons.

BIRDIEST FESTIVAL

Corpus Christi’s third Birdiest Festival in America takes place April 24-28.

The event features 14 different guided field trips, four nature photography workshops, 11 presentations by noted career professionals, and seven popular “Raptor Project Shows.”

There will be an industry vendor tent, family fun area, arts & crafts shows and plenty of the ractivities for the family to enjoy.
