Baby Boot Camp

Oct. 9 from 8:15 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The Navy Marine Corps Relief Society will give a Budget for Baby workshop. The workshop is designed to help parents develop a family budget as well as gain insights into how the family budget changes as children grow. Attendees receive a free Junior Sea Bag, including a baby blanket handmade by a Society volunteer..

Conflict Management

Oct. 11 from 9-11 a.m.

A workshop which enables the learner to apply collaborative problem-solving techniques to create positive outcomes from conflict resolution.

CEPT

Oct. 15-16 from 8 a.m - 4 p.m.

Career Exploration and Planning Track (CEPT).

Service member and spouse workshop offers a unique opportunity to identify skills, increase awareness of training and credentialing programs and develop an action plan to achieve career goals.

Workshop facilitators will guide participants through a variety of career considerations including labor market projections, education apprenticeships, certifications and licensure requirements.

Feeding Your Baby

Oct. 17 from 1 - 3 p.m.

This class is presented by New Parent Support and NMCRS Lactation Consultant Cheryl Mills. Discuss all aspects of feeding your baby (breastfeeding and bottle). This is a three-week class with the first two classes geared toward the moms and the last class just for dads. Parents are free to ask any questions to help prepare them to feed their newborn baby.
