Bravo Zulu to the following personnel who were recognized recently in an All Hands Call:

Lorraine Bekeris was recognized for 10 years of Federal service.

Kyle Mallon was recognized for 15 years of Federal service.

Nelia Gonzales was recognized for 20 years of Federal service.

ACC Christopher Reed and YN1 Bridget Crawford were recognized for their support of the Active Duty Fund Drive in support of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. Their efforts contributed to the success of this year’s drive and will enable NMCRS’s continued assistance to our service members.

BM2 Victor Cerda received a Letter of Appreciation from the Naval Health Clinic Corpus Christi commanding officer for his support of the Clinic’s change of command. Bevan Benson was recognized as Civilian of the Quarter, Third Quarter 2019. James Baker was recognized as Senior Civilian of the Quarter, Third Quarter 2019. AC3 Lydia Travis was recognized as Blue Jacket of the Quarter, Third Quarter 2019.

QM2 Mariah Winn was recognized as Junior Sailor of the Quarter, Third Quarter 2019.

ET1 Ebony Griner was recognized as Senior Sailor of the Quarter, Third Quarter 2019.

MA2 Flinten Jones was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for his service as patrol supervisor, Security Department, NAS Corpus Christi, from June 2016 to August 2019.

Jones supervised eight security force personnel through 155 calls for service, performed 1,450 hours of anti-terrorism and force protection operations, conducted 105 random vehicle inspections, and completed 16 criminal investigations. His willingness to train others directly led to the qualification of three watch commands, six patrol supervisors, 12 patrolmen and 14 sentries.

MA2 Eric Murphy was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for his service as watch commander, Security Department, NAS Corpus Christi, from July 2016 to July 2019. Murphy supervised 30 security force personnel through 200 calls to service, performance of 2,250 hours of flight line security checks, 110 random vehicle inspections and 22 criminal investigations with no discrepancies.

His willingness to train others led to the qualification of six watch commanders, 10 patrol supervisors, 18 patrolmen and 20 sentries.
