2019 Captain’s Cup Volleyball Champs

Congratulations to “Thunder Mammals” on taking home the championship trophy for the 2019 Captain’s Cup Volleyball League.
The team, made up of Coast Guard personnel, swept thier opponents “Corpus Porpoise,” two matches to zero in the championship round, Oct. 23.
“Corpus Porpoise gave the Thunder Mammals a run for their money as they almost went to a third game but the mammals finalized the win with a few nasty spikes in the end to close it out,” said NASCC MWR Sports and Aquatic Director Leah LeMaire. “It was a terrific season!” (photo courtesy of NASCC MWR)
