Occupation: Hospital Corpsman Years Exercising: Seven. Frequency (how many times a week): 4-5 days a week. Favorite Exercise & Food: Shoulder press and Seafood Alfredo. Favorite motivational saying: “Do or do not. There is no try.” What inspired you to start exercising? 2012 deployment to Afghanistan. I wanted to come home looking sexy. How has being consistent with your fitness benefited you? It has been a great stress relief and my personal hobby. What do your family or friends think of your fitness habits? They think it’s great. I’ve inspired many of my friends into seeking healthier habits. What challenges have you overcome to maintain your fitness? My love for greasy food and video games. At my age, it’s a bad combination for keeping a healthy weight. What advice would you give someone who is just starting their fitness journey? Start small and work your way up. Many first timers feel the need to lift heavy. Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing. Take your own journey.
