Occupation: Spouse and Mom Years Exercising: Just about 8 months Frequency (how many times a week): 5 days a week Favorite exercise & favorite food: Anything related to arms. Mushroom Swiss Cheeseburger Favorite motivational saying: “It’s only a crazy dream until you do it.” What inspired you to start exercising? I was motivated by weight loss initially, and have now focused on muscle training. How has being consistent with your fitness benefited you? Being consistent helps to keep me on track. Creating a habit that keeps me moving toward my goals. What do your family or friends think of your fitness habits? They have all been super supportive and inspired as well. Seeing my progress has shown them how possible getting healthy can be. That is almost more rewarding to me than my own journey. What are the challenges you have overcome to maintain your fitness? The biggest challenge for me was making up my mind to start. Once I finally set my mind to something, there isn’t much that will deter me. What advice would you give someone who is just starting their fitness journey? Do not compare your abilities to anyone else! Start where you are comfortable and able. But always challenge yourself! You are capable of more than you let yourself believe.
