How much is admission?
Admission is free.
How much is parking?
Parking is free. Some of the parking is in a grass lot located adjacent to the show site.
Which NAS Corpus Christi gate is open to the public?
The Main/South Gate opens to the public at 8:30 a.m.
Is there fuels for my automobile available?
No. Please make sure you have plenty of fuel in your vehicle between coming to the air show.
Is there wheelchair access to all seating areas?
Wheelchairs can access all seting.
Where do I park?
When you arrive at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, security personnel will direct you to available parking lots.
Is handicapped parking available? If so, where will they be directed for parking?
Yes. Handicapped parking is available. If your vehicle has a handicapped license plate or a windshield pass, security personnel will direct you to the designated handicap parking area. Disabled Veerans WITHOUT a handicap placard will be directed to general parking. Handicapped parking is limited and is available on a first-come first-serve basis.
Will there be RV/Travel Trailer parking?
RV/Travel Trailers are allowed onto the air station. However, no overnight parking or tailgating is allowed.
Is there a general parking lot shuttle?
The air show is being held on the NAS Corpus Christi sea wall this year, which puts the entry gates within walking distance of the general admission parking area. There will also be buses circling the parking lots to help shuttle air show attendees from general parking to the air show entry gate.
Can I bring a bike, roller blades, skateboard or scooter?
No. For the safety of all spectators, there items will not be allowed on air show grounds. In addition, shoes with wheels in the sole aren’t permitted.
Are drones allowed?
No.
Are pets allowed?
Only working service dogs are permitted. Otherwise, pets are not allowed in the air show spectator area and must not e left inside cars in the parking lots.
Are cameras allowed?
Cameras are allowed – still, video and digital. Your camera bags ar subject to search upon entry.
If I have a small child, can I bring a stroller?
Strollers are permitted, however they are subject to search upon entry.
Is there shade?
The air show is under an open sky. Patrons are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Will restroom facilities be available?
Temporary portable facilities will be available.
Is tailgating allowed?
No.
What is the performance schedule?
The show site will open at 9 a.m. daily. Performances will begin around noon. Because of last minute chanes in performers and schedules, exact times are not available. There will be continuous aerial excitement from the start of the show until the show closes,, as well as numerous sttic displays, vendor booths and exhibits.
What time do the Blue Angels fly?
Typically, the Blue Angels begin their show at 3 p.m. Their performance is approximately one hour.
Where is the best place to watch the show?
The entire spectator area will have a good view of the air show events.
What happens if it rains?
The air show will occur rain or shine, except during lightning or heavy thunderstorms. Handheld umbrellas are allowed in the event of severe weather, flying times will be postponed. There is no raid date for the show.
