Fair Winds & Following Seas -- Firefighter Robert
Armijo retired from federal service with 34 years during a traditional ceremony Nov. 30. During the ceremony, Armijo was recognized for the countless hours he spent making NAS Corpus Christi Fire and Emergency Services the professional organization it is today, as well as the positive impact he had on the next generation of firefighters. Armijo began his service in the Air Force serving as a crash rescue firefighter for three years. He served as a firefighter at Naval Station Ingleside and NAS Corpus Christi in various capacities including assistant fire chief. Armijo’s family was also recognized and thanked for their support of his career.
